Absolutely aghast to hear of Prof Marguerite Johnson’s sudden death last week. A superb classics scholar in her own right, I knew Marguerite from her vivacious hosting of online events for The Last Tuesday Society. Always enthused and supportive, I shall miss our little chats before a talk. RIP.
