The irony is not lost on me that the soap opera episode made me bawl my eyes out
Yesterday at the movie theater I had the self-control to not purchase any of this stuff please clap
In two hours I’ll be sitting down to watch Star Trek II in a movie theater for the first time since 1982 when I was 15 years old and it’s making me feel a certain kind of way 🥹
Happy cosmic birthday today to this guy—who is definitely not thinking about putting protomatter in the matrix 🙂 A talented artist, gone too soon 🖖
Look I’m just sayin I’m the horse responsible for transporting people to picnics and this guy is anti-picnic so naturally we’re gonna have beef 🤣
In scenes like this, Pike knowing his fate seems almost like a superpower—he knows he can’t be killed—so we the audience know what he’s about to do just as he’s about to do it, where his only dialogue is giving Erica the con—it’s a great moment and is the kind of thing I love about SNW 🖖
As a horse who likes to ride out and have a picnic lunch every day I have mixed feelings about Phil’s return 🤣
Just checking out this magazine with the work of the great Bill Krause @admiralbuck.bsky.social on the cover 🖖
An often overlooked episode tonight with some history-making moments and performances—particularly that of the late, great Micheal Dunn #TOSSatNight
In honor of a return to the genre, my top 5 Star Trek horror episodes, in no particular order: • Wolf in the Fold (TOS) • Frame of Mind (TNG) • Empok Nor (DS9) • All Those Who Wander (SNW) • Night Terrors (TNG) • honorable mention: The Griffin Incident (SNW)
The SNW cast seems like they have a tight bond—their chemistry and authentic friendships remind me of the TNG crew
