I was asked to draw the cover for my hometown's magazine commemorating the Segavecchia festival, a celebration of Spring of likely pagan origins held yearly halfway through Lent, and codified in the 1450s.

A parade of funny little animals wearing big paper-mache masks, there's a swallow flying over them. A white and blue kitten dressed as a dragon smiles at the reader. The title says "Segavecchia, Cotignola, 2026, 575esima Ed." in white letters.

January was PACKED for personal stuff and incredibly valuable distractions, but I also found a very comfortable routine to tackle environment art and level design. I'm taking full advantage of this to focus on bringing our introduction sequence to life. www.patreon.com/posts/trappe...

BildBildA shorthand contextual statement for Worldhopping. Text reads:
'Worldhopping is a series of interior paintings reprocessed from virtual photography, positioned between conceived notions of safe space in Furry Contemporary, and duality between real and virtual spaces. Furry Contemporary emphasises queer conversations regarding identity and body autonomy, and finding alternative ways of becoming known through embodiment as reimagined, anthropomorphic animals. Centered around VRChat, the paintings are created from personal photographs guided by the self exploration conducted in VRChat’s online virtual spaces.

Informed by the work and writing of Tommy Bruce and Paul Peng, Worldhopping explores the ways Furries navigate VRChat in parallel to the real, in the ravenous, metaphysical pursuit of their own identity. Worldhopping invites the viewer into the worlds of a cherished community, revealing constructed realities and personalities once left latent by the confines of a headset.

Dream tonight beneath the stars, wake to build a world that’s ours. — Furality Online Xperience, June 2025'Bild

Even the smallest mote of divinity shivers with the lingering note of creation, pure and overwhelming in barely its faintest echo. Ascension by screaming to meet its painful volume, agony harmonizing pressed together from every reality. A soul pulled howling into holy focus.

An abstract character in red screaming and erupting, falling apart, everything is pulled upward.
