I had three #birds left for the last page of #AvianAugust so I decided to try a new way of arranging them, and somehow I finished the challenge early. It was fun 💙🐦‍⬛🦜🐦🦃🦩🕊️

Weather was confusing yesterday, so I had time indoors to finish another page full of #birds. Can't believe that there are only three days/birds left of #AvianAugust. Time really flies.

Finished the next page of #AvianAugust. Making the #birds very small sometimes makes it harder to draw the characteristics. Thinking of all the species and people affected by climate change, while many politicians being silly about it, I drew the canary in the coal mine.

After a travel break, I filled the next page with #AvianAugust #birds.

And finally I caught up with the current day of #AvianAugust. I can hardly believe it, as I was 5 species behind 24 hours ago. I don't have q favorite among the #birds, but among my drawings I like nr. 11 most, I think. Working already on the next bird as I'm traveling tomorrow.

I just finished my second page of #AvianAugust. I very much enjoy drawing tiny, colorful #birds.

Met those on my last hike, they're stabilizing the soil and hiking path with their big roots. Happy Thicktrunk spruce day. I mean, #thicktrunktuesday! #trees

I have joined both workshops in previous years and I can highly recommend them! It was nice to learn new drawing techniques and about all the hormones that shape our wellbeing. All that in a very cozy atmosphere.

Finally I finished #AvianAugust day 1 😄

I was very excited about this year's #AvianAugust, as it started with Northern lapwing, a very common #bird around my place. So on July 31st, I took some fresh references fotos. Only to forget about it on August 1st 😅. Yesterday evening I made some bird outlines, but now I'm off for a hike. #adhd

Here are some captures from a recent bird watch. A friend had alerted me that a Shelducks were sighted, so I went there and got one new species. A very funny one to watch. All these #birds inspire me to use them as a reference for animation or paper drawings.

I'm on a hike and met this beauty within 45 minutes from the start. It was shining purple in the sun. Apatura iris, according to iNaturalist. I met many more butterflies along the way. #biidiversityrocks
