Why am I suddenly being followed by a bunch of random looking accounts? I usually get one or two follows at most per day, and today I’ve gotten 8. Strange.
Ash is ready for bed. We had our treats and it’s time for snoozing. She thinks the human should get moving and get to bed, but she’ll stay near either way. #CatsofBluesky

I finally took a picture of one of the black squirrels that live in the neighborhood. There are a few black ones around, and we’ve had white squirrels in the past too. Figured a few of the cats around might find this interesting. #squirrel
Ember often brings her snake into the bedroom when it’s time for bed. Never on the bed though, just left on the floor. #CatsofBluesky

Went to a community dance event at another studio and got this wrist band. The ladies were very interested. Ember played with it a bit after this, but I don’t think this will be a new favorite. #CatsofBluesky

We now have a nana phone in the house! I was pretty sure I’d ordered one in the past and was trying to remember what happened to it. It was my first and only example of porch pirates in this house… and the thief was a neighbor cat! Took me a while to remember that. #CatsofBluesky

I was reminded by @ellafitzg.bsky.social ‘s recent post of a lockdown phenomena. During zoom ballet class, most of us had our pets join us in frame, mostly cats, so we would always catch up with the cats after class. My ladies learned quickly to be careful of flying feet.
I had a very long day. Took my mom to have eye surgery (glaucoma). First spot of the day and needed to be there at 5:45 am. Only got home from rehearsal at around 9 pm. At least I got to work from home. Still can’t miss the before bed treats though! Ash loves hunting for them in the papers.
Took this picture earlier today. The pigeons always are hanging out here (I think the owner of a nearby store feeds them), but on really hot days like today, they cluster in this one bit of shade. I just think it’s silly and finally took a picture.
