It's challenging, right now, as a maker who believes in the old "build it and they will come" I have, broadly, rejected the idea of making something just bc it will sell well. I prefer to make objects that I am invested in, that I would want to see. But when you are reliant on sales for income..
Putting out feelers for some new ideas! Would bronze/silver sensory play items be something folks would be interested in? Specifically I have been getting advertised a lot of resin claws, and I realized I could probably make some really pretty ones, but I'm not sure the interest is there.
Been struggling with migraines and eyestrain for the last few months, and it's really limited my ability to work on stuff, which has in turn fueled my depression. I assumed it was exhaustion or burnout. Chat. I needed glasses. I'm 40. My head hurt because I COULDN'T SEE.

it's basically the number one rule to any medium ; you can't just tunnel-vision and pigeon hold yourself into a corner. that niche may feel comfortable but it's stifling and prevents you from seeing "the bigger picture" in any sort of artistic/cultural context
