well they kinda made a statement in their discord. Not that it seems to have helped. That 24 hour waiting period of saying nothing really did more damage than the issue at hand. Cause now you got sides in a situation that while not cut and dry is simpler than is being let on. Always address quickly.

Guns, in some form or another, have existed since about the 9th century. The Rapier, the quintessential weapon of the dashing rogue in many a fantasy setting, came about 600 years later. Black powder and early guns also predate many common sword types in Fantasy, including Claymores.
Qsy@qsy.bsky.social · 2mo agoThe only reason firearms would look out of place in the type of fantasy I see is because the author, much like OP, doesn't know about their history and can't imagine making fantasy weapons out of them.
