(1/2) Mostecký Kahan is the last stop in this demanding but phenomenal trip that had me walking 60 km in three days. Proper old-school brew pub. I couldn't resist the call of the ďábelské topinky. And by all the gods that never existed, they are beyond mňamdopicí na ntou.

(1/2) At Minipivovar Most. The 22 km from Klíny were naprosto pohodička, compared to yesterday's 17. The place is über modern, but pretty cool - that wall of windows makes all the difference. The lasagna was perfect after the hike, and service is great.
After the most gruelling 17 km of my life, I finally made it to Klíny, and now I'm orgasming with a Světlý ležák from the local Pivovar & Restaurace Emeran, while I enjoy the view and wait for my room to be ready. I'm so happy with myself that I don't care the beer is 0.4...
This is what awaits me today. I'm honestly NOT looking forward to that climb, but I'm glad is at the start of the trail. In any case, the beers today are sure to taste great!
At Pivovar Ossegg. Gorgeous beer garden with great neighbourhood atmosphere, buřty na pivu better than polvo mañanero, and very friendly staff. The beers are unremarkable, but competent enough to make you want ještě jednou and enjoy the place. I'm glad I'm here.
(1/2) Made it to Osek. How convenient it is to have a brewpub near the hotel while you wait for your room to be ready! Restaurace Černý Orel is a pretty place, solid food, great service.
A quick stop at Restaurace Beseda, in Hrob (what a name for a town!), before the last and hardest bit of today's walk. Dršťkovka was derreconchamňamdopičí, Gambáč 10 is leagues better than Monopol's Světlý ležák, and I feel I brought the average age down a decade. Nice place...
U Tří karafiátů is a modern neighbourhood pivnice with a century-old feel and a beer range that wouldn't be out of place in Vršovice - they have Wild Creatures on tap today (and all skvělé ušetřené). The sort of place every beer and pub lover would love to have near home.
Wellness Hotel Pivovar Monopol is a grand place, gorgeous, really. The beers are... Well, the Světlý ležák was a margarine bomb, and the other two were just alright. Koleno looked good, but it was a far cry from the Bavarian schweinshaxe, but that is more a Czech feature than a Monopol bug.
It was nice to find a Sibeeria Brewery collab that isn't a NEIPA. It was even nicer to see it's a Rauch, and a cracking one at that! Moren of this, please - more smoke and less murk
On the train to Teplice, the starting point of a hiking holiday that will have me walk 59 km in three days
This IPL by Břevnovský klášterní pivovar sv. Vojtěcha is firing on all cylinders today - every bit as beautiful as the place
The program for today: an excellent 11 by Pivovar Chroust at BIO OKO, followed by Terminator 2:Judgement Day. And then more beer
One last stop before heading home (and after a božský king-Pao). Krkonošská hospůdka, a Prague 6 institution, and an old kámoš is u výčepu. What more can a guacho ask?
Reached my destination: Libocký pivovar - Hostinec nad Šárkou. First visit in 7-8 years. Šárka 11 has a mild off-flavour that would disqualify it from a competition, but it's hitting the right cord for me now - it might be because I've just walked 20 k, and the last bit was all uphill 🤷
Perfect day for a 20 km beer hike from my place to... Prague. Admittedly, the destination is not particularly exciting, it's mostly an excuse to get my ass moving, and there are a couple of good spots along the way.
Not pictured, but I did drink the last pint of Hostomická 7°. I'm proud of myself, maybe
The beers at Fuze are still mňamdopičí. Grilovaný bůček was lovely, but served with crap chimichurri and a pointless grilled spring onion. The smoked potatoes were quite good, though admittedly not particularly photogenic.
Sod blowing candles! This is how you celebrate a birthday!
My birthday isn't until Monday, but the official celebrations start today at Únětický pivovar with their magnificent Žitný speciál (the celebrations began last Saturday, actually, but I didn't tell anyone)
Zapečený sandwich s gothajem a sýrem ať Výčep Tabor. The best sánguche in Czechia The pifko and the location aren't half bad, either.
Apparently, the people at Pecký Pivovar believe that the hypothetical endorsement of a teetotal child rapist would be a good thing.... 🤷

With such beautiful weather and my Achilles tendon feeling better, I had to go on another beer hike

My Achilles tendon has been nagging me lately, preventing me from doing my usual beer hikes. But with today's gorgeous weather, I HAD to go for a walk, and Pivovar Prokopák is perfect for this: luvly birrita, mňamdopicí svíčková (esp. the knedlíky) and the rustling of leaves in the wind.
