Good to see Steinberg's classics back today after 30 years on their anniversary. Who remembers these? VB1 was a solid bass sound and we all remember Neon. Quite impressive they manage to port such old plugins. Happy anniversary Steinberg

I am a pixeller and I love the BBC Micro and VR
They should remake Logan's run for 2026. - you have unlimited A.I credit for the top A.I model. You live in a dream world of being able to create anything. It's the new SOMA and gives you endless pleasure When you get to 30 you are then expected to pay and all you can afford is the cheap ass engine
Two years ago I released Elite 3D - the #BBCMicro classic, in anaglyph 3D (for red-and-cyan glasses) But I failed to give the project a repository, so here it is, only 22 months late: github.com/markmoxon/el... So you now can see every change I made to Elite to drag it into the third dimension 🚀

A legendary synth guy has left us! I liked what he had to say and seemed open minded about new technology and Ableton e.t.c Fly high Patrick!

Karst.systems is my new platform for instrument-building, launching in private beta today. Go play with now at app.karst.systems ! Standalone app and plugin coming later this year.
Just had a youtube notification for the new Holly Willoughby show. Ummm think I will give that a miss 😅
I see Ronnie Le Drew died yesterday. He was a great puppeteer. 😢 I think this is Roy Skelton doing his voice here. Zippy was such a great character! He was paranoid, egotistical, liked the sound of his own voice....and went into huffs any given moment! So funny. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qvqy...

A.I is going to change the world. I have had a taste of this for myself. I cannot believe what it is able to do now. For me it's the stuff of dreams. To be able to build things like never before. It's just completely nuts. I wish I could show you .....but I can't ...not yet. You will see soon.
With the Ram crisis not going away soon now is the time for everyone to move over to Risc OS and Raspberry Pi's! I get OS9 vibes from Risc OS or the other way around......both lovely operating systems

Just did this. All of it's being generated live ( music and visuals). It looks amazing in VR I could sit in it all day. I lost the original project but managed to get it back with my memory and description. I wonder what Stanley Kubrick would have made of today www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3PV...

I was with a user yesterday who couldn't start Outlook or Onedrive. It had kicked them out in the middle of work. The fix was to go into localapp data and delete the contents of some folders (IdentityAuth etc). I thought Windows and pcs are so complicated nowadays. I hark back to simpler times.
The Acorn archimedes groovebox project is progressing. I tidied up stuff and added a drum machine. Why can't A.I Get that envelope window right? It's interesting. You can clearly see it spilling out of the frame. It's really shaping up now. I might try to get it to write a Risc OS app.....hmmmm
Starting to look a bit better with my Archy sequencer and new 3d effects. Need to sort out that envelope as it goes off the page!
Well this has come on leaps and bounds. My new Archimedes Groovebox sequencer. Thanks Nero/Tony for RDSP. I finally got it installed. So we can play back WAVS on the Archimedes. I also got RISC OS 5 running eventually. Look at this! It needs work but wow already. I never wrote an Archimedes prog b4!
So the new Rolling Stones album is out. What is your favourite track on the album? I'm just starting to listen to it. Even though they have loads of money in the bank they still want to release a good album so I guess they are nervous about the reception www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ow50...

Getting a bit further with this now! I've got some music coming out! The question is how far can I push it. The Archimedes sound chip is quite basic. How did Coconizer with PCM samples do it I wonder? It used a few tricks. I need to try and stop the stuttering. Still it's impressive for a first go!
I was talking to a neighbour about Claude and how it seems to be getting more expensive. I wonder how long it will be before they get us really hooked and dependent on it then whoosh the price goes up. I do hope A.I comes down so everyone can use it. They will need to solve these energy issues......
The Staple Singers....fantastic song with Pops on his tremolo guitar. Happy Birthday Mavis Staples! www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFBH...

Working on an Archimedes music sequencer. Getting slow redraw issues so we shall see what to do about that. Maybe if I take it to RPC Emu. This is really amazing. I would have given anything to have this A.I back in the day. Imagine how much software could have been written for the Archimedes.
A.I is getting more exciting. I'm experimenting writing Archimedes in BBC Basic V and Arm Assembly. The way you can paste your code into an online archimedes as well...so cool. It means being able to possibly build new RISC OS apps. How cool would that be. Here's a simple3d editor I'm working on
