Bunting with your (lefty) leadoff hitter with a runner on second. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Mets, Jets, Rangers, video games, beer and probably too much politics. Trying to find people on here
I know it’s been six years but these fans really don’t cheer or applaud when Lindor comes up or anything?
The Red Sox had a 20.1% chance to make the playoffs 30 days ago. Today it’s 91.6%. Guessing that’s the largest upward swing in playoff odds for one team in a month’s span (excluding September).
Given they already had an outfield logjam and are going absolutely no where, probably just giving him the chance to go to a contender. Also… he pitched last night? Okay
Mike Tauchman released by the Mets, per Francys Romero.
Said it from the beginning, Stevens is just an awful candidate. People will point to AIPAC money dominating the primary but she’s simply very unappealing, negative charisma. Even from an establishment perspective, you wonder why Schumer/Gillibrand courted her.
People, myself included, jumped the gun, but I would still much rather be Abdul El-Sayed than Haley Stevens right now.
Dems ended up coming away with a decent Senate nominee batch after all. El-Sayed isn’t a generationally great candidate or anything but he’s much better than Haley Stevens. Only weaklink really is Maine and that’s moreso due to the circumstances that led to an emergency primary.
Dana White and the UFC lost $30 million producing the fight held at the White House on Trump's birthday
When Clay Holmes signed with the Mets, a Yankee confidant told me “hey, he is going to get so much hate that he doesn’t deserve. It’s your job to defend him”. Proud to have upheld that oath for the last year and a half. Rest now brother, and I’ll see you in Valhalla.
We’ve talked a lot about a certain new Tigers pitching prospect, but what I’m surprised never really got mentioned is that Brandon Sproat turns 26 next month.
I hate how everyone bitching about their deadline today has won a World Series within the last five years
I think the Mets made out okay, not terrible or great, with what they had. Only return I didn’t like was Raley, and you could question pulling the trigger on Weaver for just Stafura, but all in all fine.
Looking forward to (assuming) Morabito taking Tyrone Taylor’s roster spot.
This is one of those baseball moments that is completely irrelevant that I will always remember. I genuinely forgot what it was like to win baseball games in this fashion.
TYRONE TAYLOR TIES THIS BALLGAME 🔥
Luke Gabrysh was the starting pitcher in this game. I was witnessing a Future Met and had no idea.
0-for-4 at Citi Field this year, so figured we’d try out the minors

I get the vibe Stafura is just an... expected return. Not great. Not horrible. Market value. Nothing wrong with that but not exceptional either. Cool that he grew up a Mets fan, though.
Curious if the Mets eat any money, at least for 2026, for Weaver because you know, Bob Nutting
Weaver news just had to break when I'm on-deck for a presentation
MLB Pipeline should start updating their prospect lists on July 25 purely so we can have less dated rankings for people to cite
Mets bullpen will be interesting in the second half with guys like Pintaro, Duarte, Ross, Lavender, etc. getting shots
We’ll have to see what he gets obviously, but part of me feels that the Holmes injury might’ve helped his trade value if anything.
Feels like less of a seller’s market than the Mets might’ve been hoping for
I’m gonna be real with y’all. I think Mitch McConnell is alive.
The worst part about the Dodgers is that MIGUEL ROJAS got to be a baseball legend.
Assuming Brazoban is getting traded, I would imagine Weaver is also not likely lasting
