#smaugust Day 2- Alpine. Far off on some wayward island the natural order is reversed: miniature dragons terrorized by some oversized, flying mammal. Some call it a Gryphon, some call it other things. Regardless, it prefers to coast mountain updrafts in search of scaly prey.

Snow Yaga: Elusive polar predators which use their keen senses to track snowstorms and hunt from hidden within them
Silkmonger: Enormous neotenous caterpillars which use their wide-spanning webs to ensnare prey
Terrasque: Tremendous iron-shelled beasts which move through earth like water
Crackling Firebrand: Endemic to the Ashlands, their specialized diet allows them to fire off dazzling long-distance explosions
Vessalisk: Large semiaquatic drakes with characteristic azure sails and brutish attitudes
