in San Francisco and my thoughts are alternating between "it's just like The Room (2003)" and "it's just like Sonic Adventure 2 (2001)" and "HERE I COME SANFRANDISC—"

Tulip and I watched an episode of the Computer Chronicles a few weeks ago where they show off Mario 64 and we keep saying to each other "It's like Doom meets Mario" because that's how Stewart Cheifet describes it lmfao
[having just gone through a major life change and a sudden move] i'm such a slacker. i'm not working hard enough. i gotta do more
i haven't had the space to work on traditional art for... Several months. and i still don't lol. but i watched this video where someone upcycled matte eyeshadows into watercolors and it has me yearning to play with watercolors/inks again u_u youtu.be/BznIVa4zJb4

nnnn... i miss having a linux device to chew on and play with... [literally sitting near a bunch of computer toys as i type this]
kind of eager to get back into making things. i haven't really had time or space to work on art or other projects for a long time now... i wanna create again
every chance i get to swim feels so wonderful. it's amazing... my chronic pain lessens for a while and i can actually feel kind of functional. shoutouts to water
for many years, i have struggled with breakfast. between my chronic pain/fatigue, and history with disordered eating, i needed to make it as dead simple as possible to get breakfast in the morning. otherwise i'd procrastinate on eating and starve myself for hours. pretty bad!!
i'm currently in the bay area (sf/oakland) for the next month or so and i have no idea where to buy good coffee beans. kind of a long shot, but do any of my followers have some local coffee roastery recs?
kinda early to be posting this but, a few reminders: - i am just a tulip online and if we haven't spoken outside of the social media site i'm posting this on, we are not friends. please chill out. - if i am posting about something and i'm not asking for help: don't give me unprompted advice.
making extremely vaguely 00s themed coffee, calling it "frutiger aeropress"
case in point: how many times have i played sotn? oh, i don't know. i stopped counting after a certain point.
trying to recommend games to me is like trying to get a new toy for a cat. i'll give it a sniff and go "that's kind of neat i guess." and then go back to playing with the same beaten up toy i've been batting around for the past several years

it's nice to have a break from incredibly crushing life experiences. right now the thing i'm most bummed out by was the disappointing croissant i had for breakfast. don't refrigerate your croissants, man, they'll get tough and lose all of their crispness
put some more stickers on my laptop. i want to make custom tulip the cat stickers, so i'm leaving a bunch of space open still...
i didn't play video games for like, 3 months, but now i'm finding myself picking them back up again. i think i missed having someone to experience games with... or maybe i am just excited to play with new toys. possibly both!
enjoying my time in california so far. i'm not used to seeing palm trees in real life. that's amazing
