A new automation has entered the arena: Shift Objects This automation moves objects along a path of ordered holders, or around a circle. https://playingcards.io/docs/shift-objects-automation
Try this on for size - Edit Mode looks a little different, widgets now appear as they do during the game, no more blue marker whiteboard. - Widgets can now be resized directly. - Automation Buttons can be resized 🙌 - Compact width/height inputs and added X/Y location editing.
Editor? I hardly know her! You may notice the editor looks a little different. We've moved most edit popups into a unified sidebar (landscape screens) or bottom bar (portrait screens).
You spin me right round! You can now rotate who gets dealt the first card by setting the "Starting Holder Offset" on the Move Objects Automation. (video) We've also added a Rotate Objects automation, which includes an option to "Randomize" the rotation.
Happy new year everyone! We have a few updates to announce: Enlarged cards/pieces can now rotate with rotated cards in-game. Tweaked the timing of when the enlarged popup appears/disappears. New Players & Sharing popup - this doesn't do much right now but we'll be adding to it.
We've just released a small update with a couple improvements to the 'Move Objects' Automation: - On holders with a 'Spread' layout including the hand, cards can now be moved to a new group at the start or end - Rotation can now be rotated one "notch" clockwise/counterclockwise
Also in this update, cards that are "spread" out in the hand/holders have improved. Players can now place cards between groups or create a new group at the beginning.
We've just released an update with some fancy new dice! A D4, D8, D10, D10 (percent), D12, and of course the D20. Available now in an Edit Mode near you.
The Dice update is live! - Dice can be placed into holders & hands - Dice can be moved/recalled with Automations - "Move Cards & Pieces" is now "Move Objects" - You can prevent players from rolling dice by tapping them, only rolls via Automation. Great for games like Liar's Dice
Any questions? Our latest update powers up Automation Buttons with Questions and References. When an Automation Button is clicked, the player can enter a number or pick cards. Then the answers to these questions or Counter widget values can be used in the automation.
Today on Extreme Makeover Website Edition, http://PlayingCards.io gets a new look Featuring: - Top navigation with buttons to quickly create/import - Simplified / improved type - A dedicated Games page for our ever-growing library Let us know your feedback!
As a follow up of the last update, you can now distribute the selected widgets as well. And the Edit Mode message gets out of the way after a moment too.
You like to... move it? We just released a large update to Edit Mode allowing you to select multiple widgets and move/duplicate/delete/align them in bulk. You can also use the arrow keys to move the selection precisely
Improvements to card deck CSV import/export! - CSVs can now have an item-count column, with the number of cards to add - CSV import no longer resets the whole deck, great for making tweaks on the fly, item-key column is used for 'sameness' - These columns are added on CSV export
We've just added double-sided pieces! When editing a pieces collection, in the Template tab you'll now see the Face/Back dropdown with a checkbox to enable double-sided. Also, cards can now be single-sided if you choose.
