We might seem quiet, but that doesn't mean we are not hard at work! We have just uploaded beta versions of _all_ our plugins to Linux, and hope to get back to work on the 4 NEW chipsynths in the pipes full time. Yes! Three of those have not been announced yet. FC is still our priority of course.

Testing out the new hdd - here's a little morning #doodle of Renoise + lovely FM VST's by @plogue.com (Chipsynth MD + Chipsynth OPS7) few vst's even come close to what an actual FM chip+output sound like: a joy to use <3 the sampled perc sounds are emu'd thru the MD vst too, love that DAC crunch.

Aparently I just made a rather important discovery about the old (letter-less) RP2A03. Lidnariq (NESDEV guru just confirmed from die shots) essentially the lowest noise period value is different: 2046 instead of the 4068 in later revisions. This might change how certain sound effects sound

2024 was a pretty intense year for the team! We are now ready to announce that sforzando and all chip plugins will be supported natively under Linux in the future and at no extra cost to current users. Expect betas in Q2/2025!
