a year or more ago i deleted my 54k follower twitter account, something that affected me financially in a major way. And why? Because of the constant racist and transphobic harassment i received. how would you feel if a comic you made celebrating your friends got turned into this?
My sister and I are helping my dad with something so I’ll be going to Denver in a few days. I don’t know how much free time we’ll have but are there any highly recommended things to do? We’re driving there but flying back and I extremely look forward to finally seeing Blucifer in person 😍

i know it’s my own fault for still being on twitter, but it’s crazy the way trans guys over there can’t be feminine or question the structures of masculinity without being told they’re not really men BY OTHER TRANS PEOPLE! Especially by masc trans men!

This idea that people take a firm moral stance not because of their principles but because they secretly know how to cheat. Its a mix of paranoia, projection and an inability to believe someone can be ethical without an ($) incentive.
I keep seeing this take pop up that closeted and pre-transition trans men receive privilege above cis women for performing masculinity. So far every single time I’ve seen this take from a trans man he turns out to be white.

it’s so hard to articulate as a trans guy the strange relationship you have with both “womanhood” and manhood. at no point do i consider i truly experienced womanhood, but i did experience misogyny and that really flavors my relationship with manhood.
