Got pretty unlucky in the 2nd half and had a bad mindblock, but didn't die to the very ending attacks at least. Very fun game.

Fangame Infodumps
A few months ago I was watching KiyoshiWJ make a save in a fangame she was working on. The save involved having to play an entire screen with a timer running and if it ran out you died, a pretty standard trope in fangames. TheJPEGDemon was watching her make the save and when Kiyoshi mentioned potentially making the timer more lenient, Theo brought up the idea that if a timer in a fangame isn’t tight then they don’t really like it, since it isn’t contributing anything to the save really. Timed sections and speedrun challenges are pretty common in games, but there was always something strange about them to me in fangames. I think the issues I have with them personally are rooted in the basic movement of fangames, and the way more conventional types of level design translate into games where you are so limited in how you can move.

I finished reading CLANNAD, it was quite enjoyable for the most part. Some of the more emotional bits really messed me up in a good way.
Update: I'm living with a friend temporarily and will be moving somewhere else in a bit over a month. I unfortunately still don't have my PC and won't until I move again. Hopefully around May I can continue things like Music 2/Touhou 11 LNN/Gamemaking, etc.

I don't think I'll ever be primarily a Shmup player but it's nice to play different types of games for once. It's fun.
I was pretty obsessed with this avoidance as a kid so beating it feels awesome.
Imperishable Night LNNFS! (Border Team, Final B) Super proud of this, took about 59.5h, lots of chokes too.
Chainsaw Man Part 2 is both the worst thing ever and the best thing ever. I absolutely hate it but I also adore it. It sucks and it's awesome.
It's funny my two ongoing video game grinds are Music 2 Ninur, which is very repetitive and dull, and Touhou 8 LNNFS which is extremely new and fresh and exciting. Polar opposite experiences.
Making a twitch alt was an amazing idea, I don't feel pressured to stream and can do it as a casual hobby again :P
I've actually been passing in public lately. I have some decent clothes now so combined with being on HRT for 2 years I look decent. I've never felt good about my appearance for the past 21 years until now, crazy stuff.
