#AI #LLM Something I've not seen commented on is the explosion of bot-impeding pages (e.g., via Cloudflare) that now appear before web pages load. The cumulative time waste for human users has got to be in the billions of person-hours. An immense burden imposed on everyone by the AI-bro assholes.

Im April 2014 hat eine dänische Behörde ganz 🇩🇰 im Maßstab 1:1 in Minecraft nachgebaut. Das Modell war 43.000 km² groß, bestand aus ca 4 Billionen Blöcken und benötigte > 1 TB Speicherplatz. Spieler konnten damit jedes Stück des Landes erkunden – Landschaft und Gebäude

Die meisten Politiker sind schon lange keine Volksvertreter mehr. Sie sind kurzsichtige Ideologen von links bis rechts, im Grabenkampf verhaftet und vertreten Partikularinteressen ihrer Lobby und Klientel. Das Gesamtinteresse wird deliktisch vernachlässigt.

Uns wird erzählt, dass Politiker unsere Volksvertreter sind, man muss sich aber die Frage stellen, ob wir, das Volk, wirklich die Priorität haben, die wir uns vorstellen? Oder sind es doch eher Wirtschaftsvertreter? Es sieht so aus, als ob das nicht mehr im Lot ist, oder sehe ich das zu eng?

Our basic needs are only met if we allow toxic people to harm us, which only makes us sicker. Abuse steals spoons. It destroys the spirit. It makes you question your worth. We deserve better. Our community needs allies & support so no one is ever abandoned or trapped simply for being sick.

If you’re disabled and relying on someone who’s abusive for literal survival, please know you’re not alone. The lack of social supports and safety nets mean many of us get trapped in exceedingly dangerous situations. Forced to choose between help with food and meds or abuse.
