installed linux (fedora kde) on my desktop which took about 30 minutes to set up in total. had to stick a new gpu in to make it work well with dual booting, which took maybe longer (including having to take the case off of a capture card for it to fit). it is the year of linux on the desktop

i got a steam machine and have been messing with it over the past day. it’s a really nice small computer, but it’s (obviously) nothing novel. also there are some surprising software shortcomings that really make it feel like it shipped exactly on time instead of being held for component shortages
