Granny square test before I commit to buying the yarn for a blanket project. Genuinely the first one I've made. Decided when I began learning to crochet I wasn't going to start with granny squares. Jumped right into an intermediate hat pattern that took me three tries to actually get correct.

A comically large sword to Pockett would just be a normal sized sword. And they absolutely would Not be able to wield it, but they would certainly try and/or make you think they could. Best they could do is run at you dragging it behind them.

So, update We are home from the hospital. Discharged Monday afternoon. After appointment March 2nd my doctor was concerned w/ my blood pressure, my blood was tested with concerns about preeclampsia. Wednesday morning I was called by the clinic and told I needed to go to the hospital to be induced.
Still at the hospital, little girl needed an extra day at the spa. While I won't be sharing many photos of my little one I thought this one would be fine.
So, this one hatched a little early. Looks like me and the owl will have our hands full with this one for a while...
