Yesterday I kept thinking, if developer Trump were renovating the Pfizer Bldg, he would have fought against having inspectors on site. No one would have seen the cracking columns & sagging floors. The building wouldn't have been evacuated, nor traffic rerouted. It would have been a massive tragedy.

There is too much money in politics. If I pick up my mail after 2 days there will be a minimum of 3 mailings each from Micah Lasher and Alex Bores and at least 2 will be duplicates. Three or 4 and the problem is compounded. Apparently, they have so much $, they can't figure out how to spend it all.

If your only tool is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. If you're a power-mad, demented narcissist with control of a $1.5 trillion military budget, every disagreement looks like a reason for war. We spend almost $4,500 per person on the military. It's long past time for that to be slashed.
Foreign students pay full tuition. This increases funds colleges have to offer scholarships to citizens who could not afford to attend without financial aid.
