Pokémon: Pick an animal, then give it a fantastical feature. Its a design formula thats been in use since the beginning (for instance, poliwag, my pfp, is a tadpole with the visible innards as its fantastical feature), and still sees use today (See: Palafins secret identity gimmick)

Had to start severing ties to #Transformers stuff as of late. I think its for the best, so I can maybe enjoy the franchise again (esp after the negativity ive seen lately) . (Sorry to those ive unfollowed!)
