Waiting for new FDS chapters makes me so anxious now. I'm scared.
I got to watch SBR episode 2 with my friends yesterday. Two of them have never read it before and it is so fun to watch them react, completely unaware that this series is going to change their lives by the end. Y'all are right about the ED though. Fucking terrible. What were they thinking lmao.
Beatbreak finale was pretty good. I don't think it was the best Digimon series of all time or anything, but it has been so comforting to have a show like this running where it's clear the showrunners really understand what Digimon is all about. Not perfect, but a real return to form.

About 10 hours into Fortune's Weave. (Theodora ch7) Game seems to be exactly as I thought. Great story, characters, art direction, etc. Gameplay is only okay. On hard classic and everything is still super easy. Kind of disappointing since Engage managed to put up a fight by chapter 3 or 4

Finally got Eastern and Little Nature Deity. This was the only print work I did not yet have. It took me forever to find one that actually had the CD.
Sometimes I will receive an unfortunate reminder that I am not immune to Konami's DM nostalgia pandering. Look how cool these stupid losers are. It's insane.
Obviously it wouldn't have served a purpose in the game, but I do wish Dai and Koa got full artwork. All EoSDNC is missing is a gallery for the art and omake. Could've included scans of ZUN's original concept art too but they are intent on keeping that for in-person events only for some reason.
The biggest revelation from this game is that Daiyousei is unfortunately chopped

The early touhou community genuinely did such a good job of interpreting ZUN's drawings. All the new little details and corrections we get to see in new classic are just kind of worse than the fanon designs lol. I refuse to accept a Patchy without stripes or whatever Rumia is doing with her hands

The original EoSD soundtrack had such an undescribable ethereal charm to it that obviously couldn't be recaptured. But I think most of the remixes do at least match up in their own way and really stand out as far as ZUN's modern music goes. The new UN Owen was her is a direct improvement though imo
