As promised, I am elaborating 🧵 Speaking to GQ in 2015 about Blank Space, Swift said, "That was the character I felt the media had written for me, and for a long time I felt hurt by it. I took it personally. But as time went by, I realized it was kind of hilarious." (www.gq.com/story/taylor...)

GQ (bold): Have you ever stopped yourself from writing a fictional lyric because you feared it would be incorrectly applied to your nonfictional life? Swift: No. Some of the things I write about on a song like “Blank Space” are satire. You take your creative license and create things that are larger than life. You can write things like I get drunk on jealousy but you’ll come back each time you leave, ’cause darling I’m a nightmare dressed like a daydream. That is not my approach to relationships. But is it cool to write the narrative of a girl who’s crazy but seductive but glamorous but nuts but manipulative? That was the character I felt the media had written for me, and for a long time I felt hurt by it. I took it personally. But as time went by, I realized it was kind of hilarious.

Got my kids Scribblenauts Mega Pack (unlimited + unmasked) for 10yo's bday, but can't figure out how to add the 2nd player and move on past the first few challenges. Anyone have advice? Searched but only learned that it CAN be done, not how. They love Showdown - so far unimpressed with mega pack.

The awesome thing about having an ND kid is how deeply they love their favorite things. Yes, kid, give me a lecture telling me about all the dramatic interplay with these dragons and include book-by-book citations of when we learned these facts.

A major source of incidental cardio I do is yardwork. We have a wonderful (and frequently overgrown) backyard filled with palms, vines, trees, and inevitably weeds. My watch detects activity, and since there's not a "yardwork" activity, I indicate "gardening" on the tracking app.

I continue to check the forecast but no, no relief in sight, hot (86F/30C) today and with the sun here it's brutal to be outdoors. I know it's worse a lot of places but I am a delicate flower 🌹 I can only survive between 60-75 (15-24C) 🥶 🥵 why is climate change destroying the best climate on earth!
