Unfortunately, she no longer had enough money to pay for two tickets, so she made a deal with the ship’s owner to work as a waitress in exchange for passage. It wasn’t the worst arrangement. What mattered was that they had a way to cross the sea. They’d figure out the rest later.
It never fails. I spend any amount of time in TS1 and I'll inevitably want to do this in TS4.

My July reads Nuestra parte de noche (eng: Our Share of Night) by Mariana Enríquez was so good! I don't usually read horror, but this has a bit more literary feel to it. For some reason I've read a lot in French this summer. I had made a decision to give up with French, but I guess not??
A friend once said "My work doesn't deserve my make-up", and I've been thinking about that ever since. I really need a bit more of that same attitude.
Got a mullet this week, and I've never put so much meaning to a haircut before. I wanted something that would distance me from the business environment where I work, and I also wanted people to stop assuming I mean a husband when I say "my spouse". And of course I wanted something that looks cool!

I'm happy Youtube has finally learnt that I know Mandarin and French. Somehow it also thinks that I know Portuguese, but currently all I know is very basic things and some very random sentences like "A pá é para escavar" 🥲

Gemma's fear of crowded places made the graduation a nightmare, but she survived.
Gemma graduated as a valedictorian and got to gice a speech! Since Gemma's family died to Neighbourhood Stories, she invited all the sages instead, but Simeon was the only one who bothered to attend. 😕
I had totally forgotten about this song, but suddenly some of my Taiwanese friends have been posting about the song on instagram. I'm so glad to have found this song again, used to listen to it in upper secondary school, good times!

As a no CC user, I'm currently discovering the power of having undershirts as accessories 🥹 So many new possible outfits, those cropped sweaters can be used in a way that makes sense ! (After so many Sims in my save, it's hard to innovate for outfits, so that's very welcome !)

I made Bas to put this little one to sleep, and suddenly I saw her running angry next to the house (she must have run away 😅). I was wondering about her journey goal! Where do you run, little angry miss??? That was hilarious. She run across the entire district to go to sleep 🤭
And this is where I end with tha Pancakes-Goth family this time. I really didn't want Callen to have an alien baby, because his brother already has one, but here we are, and now the only alien babies in this massive save are cousins. 😅
