Last night our friends in Belfast showed up for their community, taking action in solidarity to get targeted families out of danger from racist attacks. They are now raising funds to support those who have been impacted—please donate and share. chuffed.org/project/1854...

We shouldn’t treat these election results as a failure. We should see them as an indicator that people are tired of the two party system and we have a real opportunity to win this contest. While we can’t ignore the result of the far-right, we can’t let it make us passive.

Israel barely managed to contain the last flotilla, and this one has almost 20 more ships. Whether it’s sailing with the flotilla, protesting at home, boycotting or speaking out - at some point they won’t be able to contain us all. So let’s continue our efforts and #FreePalestine!

Hear us out: while the news about the flotilla interception is terrible, it also proves how great our power is. It means Israel knows they can’t contain us. They’re scared they’ll fail to stop us. Because why else would they strike out so far away from their shore?

European institutions are failing to even ban Israel from Eurovision, meanwhile regular people put their lives at risk sailing to Gaza to try and break the siege. That’s why we have to organise beyond elections, because we cannot count on politicians to represent us.

🇮🇱 again exposes how much they can violate international law without consequence. They’ve intercepted 22 ships on international waters near Crete and European leaders are doing nothing about it. Even though some kidnapped activists are their constituents. What needs to happen for our govts to act?

Israel occupied Palestine in 1948. They've been killing the people of Gaza and destroying their homes, hospitals and lands for 19 months now. No humanitarian aid entered Gaza since 2 March. It took until this week for Keir Starmer to say something about this and he is yet to take any action.

Polish presidential elections are the best proof that when neoliberals pander to far-right voters, they only make things worse for themselves. Hopefully @rafal-trzaskowski.bsky.social learnt his lesson in this round and won’t repeat the same mistake in the final one. A lot is at stake.

Election result in Romania makes us cautiously optimistic. Well done to all the communities who value democracy and human rights. However, let’s remember that this is just the beginning of our fight. And we’ll be holding Nicușor Dan accountable as we continue organising beyond elections!
