One of the things I continue to forget about the 2011 Brewers season is that by bWAR, Greinke was the fourth best starter in the rotation, in a rotation that was good but wasn't great!

That was certainly one of the baseball games of all time

Mail day today getting a through the mail autograph from Skip Lockwood. Pilot in 1969, Brewer from 1970 to 1972. He has the honor of being the last player to play for the Seattle Pilots, coming in the game in the 9th to close out their very last game in 1969.

Mail day delivered me Wayne Twitchell, Brewers pitcher in 1970 for two games. Over his 1.2 innings he had an ERA of 10.80 and was promptly traded the next year. He went on to play for ten seasons and was an All Star once. Card 846/871. 1 card left in the 1970s.

Today's mail brought me Fred Stanley, and it's his only licensed card for the Brewers. A Brewer in 1970, he played six games for the Crew but failed to record a single at bat. He was a sub in every game he played and only pinch ran in four of those games. This is number 844 out of 867 for my PC

Today's mail brought me Aaron Hill and Jim Edmonds, courtesy of @alltimebrewers.bsky.social! Hill was the every day 3B for the Brewers in the first half of 2016, and on May 7 he hit three home runs, the last being a grand slam in the top of the 10th. Hill was traded shortly before the All Star Break
