I probably won't finish this, but this snippet amuses me

Sir," was the first clear word Amuro heard; it came from Bright (it sounded like he was standing by the foot of the stairs.)

His father laughed in response. "It's fine, Bright, I promise; Amuro sleeps like the dead."

"Bright." The stairs creaked as his father's voice drifted up. "We're alone. You don't need to be formal."

Amuro's stomach fell.

"I- I know." Bright laughed, rambling and jittery. "It's just..."

"Well, yes, of course." The stairs groaned again as more heavy footsteps stomped on them. "I mean, with your son here."

Amuro's father hummed in thought. "Even still, this is more privacy than we're normally guaranteed, isn't it?" This was followed by a disgusting, wet noise. A noise that sounded an awful lot like a kiss.

Amuro's stomach sank to his knees.

"Still..." Bright's voice trailed off with a chuckle. "I've never liked calling you 'Tem.'"

"Call me 'daddy,' then."

Amuro's stomach sank past his feet, through the floor, through the metal encasing the colony and out into space.
