I kinda ready to give up on posting art on social media, fighting algorithms/trends/etc on every platform bc of my sudden change of interest is exhausting, numbers don't really matter and they don't show the value of what I create but it's like... what's the purpose tho

ah yes, assholes stealing art and profiting from it - my whole tumblr post bc character limit sucks like dude i can barely afford food, you have no shame ⚠️ if you do warframe art, you should read through and if you're affected, submit copyright claim! ⚠️ #warframe #warframefanart #tennocreate #art

my tumblr answer. vandyburger asked: Hey, I found your art used in a YT short titled "Can Protoframes Have Kids? The Truth Revealed" by CephalonQuincy. All of the artists I have spoken to so far have said that he did not ask permission to use the art. Looks like he raided the tag. :( The art I saw from you is Dadframe Stalker with his baby bean and Tennocon fit. my answer: thank you so much for letting me know! i can confirm the creator of the video hasn't even bothered to reach out to me despite widely available options to do so :/ and his video reached 44K views without even crediting any of the artists by name within the description or the video itself what is worse than that, they used filters to alter the image to remove my watermark (shown on image below) which looking at the video i suspect they did so for everyone else they even painted white over the part of the image to remove where my logo was, you can see the odd cut-out of the hand i have submitted a copyright claim on the video and i urge other artists to do the same, as well as check their other shorts in which they have multiple other artworks used (mag, excal, protoframes in shorts, neci in full videos) it's not too complicated~ just click three dots, report, legal issue, copyright - this will open youtube claim form and guide you through the process do not do this unless you're an affected artist, the copyright won't hold unless you're the owner of one of the materials in the video!

vid is now removed thankfully but I was also affected (my artwork of Velimir and Minerva was used without my permission) profitting from other peoples art without their knowledge instead of collaborating with them on decent terms is awful, no excuses always speak up if this happens again 🙏🖤

wanted to write smth for a discussion about the topic everyone hates (ai dudebros) but I'm tired of proving something to idiots who don't understand human communication and art, who only need a "product" in minutes without any value behind drives me crazy that I have these kind of people around
