Packing my Sylvanas’ up for my cross-country move, let it never be said I’m not devoted lol

I do wonder how this squares with the loa clearly *not* knowing about Ula’tek’s existence in 12.1 though. I guess they just denied Zul’jin because the vibes were off lol
We finally got the answer for why the loa refused to help Zul’jin: it turns out he was never asking them to help him conquer Quel’thalas directly, but to help him reawaken Ula’tek and control her with their power.

Am I missing something or are regular gnomes the only playable WoW race getting neither a new or revised species option in the DnD crossover lol
Gazlowe's proportions in this DnD art are killing me
Sylvanas continuing her streak of being WoW's iconic Horde representation in marketing even 8 years later, because nothing else comes close to her cinematic "For the Horde" lol
Two years since they were added to the files, and I can FINALLY make this set a reality with the Midnight-colored items.

There's no better experience in FFXIV than finding a bunch of fellow Hrothgar to emote with, truly the purest bond in gaming
With just a little more than a month to go to Blizzcon, here's my WoW predictions: - Preview of Northrend changes + zones for TLT (guessing spoiler-free) - Trailer and reveal of next major patch - New class revealed thematically relevant to next patch and TLT - 5 hour wranduin sex scene cinematic
I teleport so much on my mage that I forgot I put his hearthstone in the little mage-exclusive hub beneath Karazhan, love this place.
Fully betting that the falcon in the Evercold trailer belongs to the new Physical Ranged job, and the final trailer will reveal it flying over to perch on someone's arm. Putting my cards on it being some kind of crossbow ranger job fantasy, you heard it here first.
This gave me the motivation to do the lore achievement for 12.1 on the PTR to see what it's about, but the reward is actually really cool! 60m duration, 10m cooldown transformation that works in combat, this should really be the go-to for toy numbers.
Gift of N'zoth and void elves didn't work, but shadow priest Voidform does! Love little exclusive lore tablets like this.
There's a random toy in Atal'Utek that summons Vargoth (with a snazzy HD outfit) to emote at us before vanishing lmao
The quest journal got added to 12.1's campaign, this build, and it... makes the likely events of the raid all the more likely (as vague as I can say to avoid spoilers lol) It seems like Zul'jan gets a sympathetic moment in the dungeon cinematic, at least.

There's an Old God obelisk right in the middle of Atal'Utek, written in Shath'yar. I wonder if there's still any ways for players to understand it so this could be translated.

To add onto this perhaps counter-intuitively: I think that if Blizzard *does* want to tell a continuous Saga, they need to accept that there will be overlap in aesthetics and story. Beyond even the story itself, I think the *vibes* of patches being so mismatched is a problem.
I think that WoW would should just embrace the likes of Undermine as isolated zones, rather than trying to justify their place in what is supposed to be a big, tied-together Saga of stories. It clearly isn’t related, and it causes a bad perception when players expect it to be.
A big takeaway I've had from the Worldsoul Saga so far is that I think WoW really thrives on the smaller story scale, with lower stakes and *less* budget. Exploring the history of a zone like Naigtal or Siren Isle really shines compared to the MSQ's character-focused narrative.
Final week of Val story! The locations for this questline are a lot more repetitive compared to Naigtal's, I've noticed lol It's kind of funny that we're doing the work of killing the domanaar in order to convince Impotus to kill more domanaar.
In celebration of the HotS patch, I’ve still got it as Sylvanas.
TLT can't come soon enough, I need more places to pose my Gnomes
With Ion insisting that 12.1 connects to the greater story of the Saga, I have to *hope* that it means Kith’ix will lead directly to the Worldcore. It would be really annoying if we just do unrelated plots in 12.1.5 and 12.1.7 before suddenly teleporting there like K'aresh.
My delusional hopes that we get a HotS revival announced at Blizzcon are getting less and less delusional by the day. Like, surely a skin with custom VFX isn't being developed *this* late into the game after the sundown announcement.
Parts of that Doomsday trailer intrigued me, but then it ended on this and all my interest immediately sapped away lol Crazy how much of an anti-hype move this clear nostalgia-bait character appearance is for me.
I love how the most important boss in Midnight is somehow Vordaza in Maisara Caverns, because we get sent to kill her three separate times lmao
Love that 12.0.7 continues the different dialogue for Tul'amar depending on if you know Draenic or not, but *also* makes the smart choice to forcibly translate the important character conversation haha
After all my impromptu Ironforge posting, I've convinced myself to finally make a Dwarf OC to play through their heritage questline. In lieu of a typical warrior/shaman, I decided on a warlock instead, and settled an Explorer's League scholar wielding a corrupted ancient tome.
I hope the Dwarves can get their HD guard armor in TLT, it's such a great set and it'd be a shame to see it totally unobtainable by players like the Blood Elf guard armor still is.
I'd also never seen this guy in the Hall of Explorers museum, I like that they poke at how clearly the vanilla Uldaman assets were just generic Greek knockoffs lol
Huh, I never realized they added Earthen NPCs down in Old Ironforge where Magni used to be. I like that the Khaz Algar Earthen know so little of the other Titanforged and their facilities, it showcases how narrow their purpose in serving the Titans was.
