Just realized the reason I'm blind in one eye might be measles! Optometrist said it was damage to my optic nerve probably while very young, maybe from a fall hitting my head. But I just read measles can cause blindness by damaging optic nerves & I had measles as a baby. Get your kids vaccinated!!!!

My timeline illustrates what I learned in church as a kid. 1) It is easier for a camel to get through the eye of a needle than a rich man get into heaven. 2) The last shall be first and the first shall be last. Not a churchgoer anymore. But those lessons about justice & inequality stuck.

First post is about JD Vance's kid getting taxpayer-paid helicopter rides to golf lessons. Second post shows immigrants out in the heat doing backbreaking work for low pay just so their families can survive.
