A busy few days at Poverty Truth! 💜 On Friday we welcomed Maureen Burke MP to our Listening Space to hear what’s bubbling up for our community. Then on Monday we held our first Family Afternoon, filled with playdough pizzas, flag-making and lots of fun. 🍕🎨 Thanks to everyone who joined us!

Our Mutual Mentoring Project with GP’s at the Deep End came to an end today. 7 months of discovering connections, humanity and a rich seam of learning. What have you learned? ‘The fear that poverty brings. The pressure of being a GP. I have been inspired by my mentor and will take that away ‘

Last week we were excited exhibitors at the Binks Hub event, ‘Poverty, Precarity and Community Empowerment’. We were sharing the progress so far on our digital archive and quilt - all wrapped up in our living room installation, ‘Come Away In.’
