This month, patients across the country regained their right to use their Medicaid coverage at Planned Parenthood health centers— except in Indiana, where the state is pushing health care out of reach. One thing hasn't changed: Our doors are open, and every patient is welcome at our health centers.

Statement from PPGNHAIK CEO Rebecca Gibron: "The Supreme Court did the right thing yesterday, but abortion medication never should have been in front of the courts in the first place. Mifepristone is safe and effective and is backed by decades of scientific evidence and FDA reviews.

“The Supreme Court did the right thing today, but abortion medication never should have been in front of the courts in the first place. ... Planned Parenthood is still providing abortion pills by mail to our patients wherever we can. Just like we did yesterday, just like we will tomorrow." —Rebecca Gibron, CEO, Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawai‘i, Alaska, Indiana, Kentucky“We know this isn’t the last threat to your health care. We are continuing to work to ensure that every pathway to care remains open, and we will not stop. To all our patients: your options, your care, and your right to make decisions about your body remain our priority. The U.S. Supreme Court just blocked a lower court’s decision that sought to restrict telehealth access to mifepristone. That means medication abortion is still available at our health centers in Alaska, Hawai‘i, and Washington, and via telehealth in Hawai‘i and Washington.

Good news! The Supreme Court blocked an attempt to undermine access to abortion pills.

You can still get mifepristone at our health centers in AK, HI, and WA and via telehealth in HI and WA.
