Accelerating the Validation of Predictive Liquid Biomarkers for Frontotemporal Dementia Diagnosis and Subclassification

🎉 As we complete the first 20 months of the PREDICTFTD project, it is a great moment to look back at where it all began. These photos take us back to our kick-off meeting at Erasmus MC in Rotterdam.

Congratulations to Kuopio Neuroscience on its 50th anniversary! 🎉 Great to see PREDICTFTD partners taking part in the FinFTD Minisymposium in Kuopio, Finland, discussing FTD biomarkers, epidemiology, clinical phenotypes, and the importance of international collaboration.

Blood-based biomarkers that test for #Alzheimer’s disease appear acceptable to people in the primary care setting, however some characteristics influence the level of acceptability and potential response to a positive result. #AEScienceWatch www.alzheimer-europe.org/news/survey-...

💡 As part of our partner introduction series, we’re excited to feature the Università degli Studi di Verona. ➡️ In PREDICTFTD the University of Verona contributes to early biomarker validation studies in olfactory mucosa samples using nasal swabs. 🖇️ Find more: lnkd.in/dgaFakjA
