We’ve got a protective goose in the parking lot right now! Do: Walk around it, stay calm, give it space, keep facing it as you back away. Don’t: Feed it, approach it, or try to “shoo” it. You may also see coyote decoys in the area. They are plastic, safe, and will be moved around periodically.

During Nursing Week, PRHC hosted its 2nd annual Nursing Symposium—celebrating nurse-led innovation, learning, & the impact our teams make every day. Take a moment to watch this video highlighting the strategy & the work underway to support nurses, strengthen care, & build a thriving nursing culture

We’re proud to share another PRHC first: our team has now performed the first patient procedure supported by Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)—an advanced, real-time imaging tool that helps support diagnosis, cancer staging, biopsies and treatment planning in gastroenterology (GI).

Red Dress Day is a National Day of Awareness & Remembrance for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, & Two Spirit People. We are honouring this day with a red dress art display at the hospital. Each dress is a visual reminder of the lives lost, families affected, & ongoing call to action.

As National Volunteer Week comes to a close, we want to say thank you to the hundreds of incredible volunteers at PRHC who show up with compassion, kindness, and heart. We asked them one simple question: why do you volunteer? And the answers remind us just how powerful generosity can be.
