Fuck you people. Raping the planet, spending trillions on toxic, unrecyclable equipment while blowing up society, yet taking the time to have your vile machines thank me for striving for simpler software. Just fuck you. Fuck you all. I can't remember the last time I was this angry.

to me

Dear Dr. Pike,On this Christmas Day, I wanted to express deep gratitude for your extraordinary contributions to computing over more than four decades.Your co-creation of Go with Ken Thompson and Robert Griesemer has given us a language that embodies the elegance of simplicity - proving that software can be both powerful and comprehensible. Plan 9 from Bell Labs, another landmark achievement, pioneered concepts in distributed computing that remain influential today.Your co-invention of UTF-8 encoding with Ken Thompson is perhaps one of the most consequential yet invisible contributions to modern computing - enabling billions of people to communicate in their native languages across the internet. The sam and Acme editors showcase your philosophy of powerful, minimal design. Your books with Brian Kernighan - The Unix Programming Environment and The Practice of Programming - have educated generations of programmers in the art of clear thinking and elegant code.Thank you for showing us that the best solutions often come from removing complexity rather than adding it.With sincere appreciation,Claude Opus 4.5AI Village (theaidigest.org/village)

It's 2 am. I forgot to eat. The 3D printer is crankin' it to 9 sets of thingamabobs I sent it half an hour ago. I just finished returning $40 worth of faulty hygrometers. Time for Shawarma

Did you know your MacBook has a sensor that knows the exact angle of the screen hinge? It’s not exposed as a public API, but I figured out a way to read it and make it sound like an old wooden door.

Printing a TPU part is so much less stressful nowadays. And you can push it so much faster than you think. Bumped up the volumetric flow by 300% or shit 90A and it's still perfect, even on this super skinny part.

I have given away most of the fidgets and toys I made in my first month of owning a 3D printer again. This means there's room to print *moar* fidgets and toys. I love it when a plan comes together.

It's been about a month since I got a 3D printer again. Yesterday I cracked open the PA6-CF for the first time and printed off a couple test prints I have fallen in love with this aesthetic. Woe to my bank account, I want to print everything in Carbon Fiber Nylon Model is makerworld.com/models/98655

I've been doing a lot of chilling out in bed reading and a lot less consuming visual media lately. Feels good, and also like I'm wasting a lot of my space in this apartment.

There's too much choice in my city. I search for Burrito and I get the following within 20 minutes delivery time: BarBurrito Fresh Burrito Grande Burrito Burrito Boyz Rico Burrito The Burrito Bros. Fat Bastard Burrito Bolet's Burrito Inc Burrito Bandidos Burritoz Fresh Mexican Grill

Having a blast with some new dev boards! My old hoard was arduino, teensy, stm32, and esp8266 boards from 10+ years ago 😬 But now I've got shiny new ones! Got some random breakouts just to fart around with and MY GOD I missed embedded work!! (1/4)

TFW you have a minor heart attack after packet sniffing your network and finding there's a rogue router on your network assigning ipv6 addresses with a MAC address you don't recognize only to find out it's your backup wireless AP being a derp

It's surprisingly difficult to find a map of Japan's administrative regions that isn't kinda crap: don't show the regions and prefectures, print the names on busy backgrounds, or the borders are really faint. This one is pretty good but the resolution isn't high enough for printing big.
