How comics actually work: some pages take an hour and some pages take eight hours and they're not always the ones you'd think. There are sometimes entire weeks taken up by research that MUST be completed before you can progress. And you also must account for several days lost to the Horrors

I want to get stuff ready to reopen the ko-fi shop, but I'm stressed out by yet another yearly rent hike. Seeing if I can improve the situation, but it's going to involve a lot of work, blood, and tears. I should be fine, but I'm so tired of having the wind taken out of my sails.

My boyfriend says I should post stuff from my sketchbook. So yeah. Medieval fantasy vampires and werewolves incoming. I've had this idea in my head of a dark fantasy setting to explore ~tortured~ emotions with these two characters. Mostly just some fun creative exploration for myself.

Ok, I've been sick as a dog for awhile now. I may not get too far, but I want to draw a bit while I'm lucid. ✨ What should I draw? ✨

Last year and this year! I really like how I developed my werewolfsona. I had a blast making them into an animated vtuber... which is a bit ironic because I don't enjoy talking that much on stream. Streaming is something I used to do and I would love to get back into again.

I LOVE talking art theory. Why it works, how it works, parts, the whole composition. If I have the time to respond, you don't even have to ask me twice to describe visual language. I love constructive critique and having perspective from artists is what I miss most from school.

Share your knowledge if/when you can. Teaching other people how to do what you do doesn’t lessen your art - it just means more and better art for everyone. I appreciate when people are willing to tell me about their brushes, how they study, etc… I want to put that back out into the world.

Finally on break... I get really sick. But I have a computer back up and running, so art is back on the menu.
