October is Riparian Buffer Month! Riparian buffers are areas with trees and shrubs next to a water body. This area creates a buffer between the land and water that filters pollutants from the soil, helping to protect water quality. They are so important, we celebrate them for an entire month!

A stream winds through an area with a lot of vegetation. Riparian Buffer Month is in the bottom right-hand corner in blue and green font.

We have some exciting news! All Access with Andy Garcia is filming at our H.L. Mooney Advanced Water Reclamation Facility for an upcoming segment about the work required to deliver drinking water and reclaim wastewater! Keep an eye on our social media for more information!

Cameras are set up for an interview with a crew behind them. All Access with Andy Garcia logo is in the left-hand corner and a Prince William Water logo is in the right-hand corner.

It's Customer Service Appreciation Week! This annual celebration isthe perfect time to recognize all employees for taking a customer-first approach to their work. Customer service is always top of mind! Donuts and coffee were provided to all departments as a small gesture of appreciation.

We had so much fun at the back-to-school Festival de Verano! We had the opportunity to share information about water as well as hand out 250 pencil pouches and other goodies. We hope you all have a wonderful school year! Thanks to the ambassadors that helped run our table!
