It's been a busy week at the park, with 8 confirmed new wildflowers starting to bloom and a possible ninth one. Seeing something new 6 days in a row was unexpected but appreciated. This is Guelder-rose, very similar to American highbush cranberry, the difference being the leaves.
Trees speak in a language of resilience, patience, and healing. Their bark—scarred yet strong—reminds us that growth often emerges from enduring hardship. In the shade of their leafy canopy, your mind finds rest, your heart finds peace, and your soul finds renewal.
