I wrote some poems today and I never/rarely write poems these days and then I also organized my memoir chapters by way of index cards and did some more memoir research and still managed to make it to back-to-school night and going to bed late but feeling fulfilled.

Is anyone watching Alice & Steve? It's pure nightmare fuel disguised as a comedy, with a stellar cast and superb-if-not-problematic writing. Ultimately I think that will depend on how it all ends. It feels very original, extremely uncomfortable, but also honest.
