Also I think the world is a beautiful place full of interesting people and not a freakshow, and increasingly thinking of it as a freakshow is limiting to your own ability to thrive as a human being.

Every time I come back to doing art after taking any time away I completely forget everything about how to draw. So i'm learning again and hopefully stay well enough to make some learning progress
Decided to try and properly learn blender rather than dipping my toe in and running away screaming for the umpteenth time - went with one of the snails from the Life Series Minecraft SMP, and I'm really happy with how it turned out!

Messy illustration to get my head back into things after having to take a break for a couple months I'm enjoying how much more my messy art looks like the things I actually intend now, despite actually looking further from the reference? who knew not aiming to copy things 1-1 was good, actually
Having done a little bit of animation for stocktober i've now got the itch to do more, wow who could have possibly known that multiplying the amount of images you have to draw would mean multiplying the amount of time spent drawing them
Somehow cut off the first bit of the timelapse and didn't notice, that's what i get for compulsively trying to finish it at 1am. actual full one now
Rowan@problematicgod.bsky.social · 8mo agoAttempted to edit the timelapse of this and god do I miss windows movie maker, i just want some simple software that can do cuts and change clip speed but i ended up trying three different programs, and when I finally found one that was usable it only did 16:9 export, so I had to chuck it in blender
