What have tariffs accomplished? 1. Higher costs for consumers. 2. Record profits for businesses. 3. Great Depression era Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act imposed. 4. ***Tariff revenue is NEGATIVE. Not a $1+, but NEGATIVE.** Homeowners call that an underwater mortgage.

The fact is, we have all seen these headlines and videos and think it's cute. The reality is, people shouldn't have to live in a shed that is used to store old cans of paint and lawnmowers. Gen X didn't grow up in a household where dad said "I think we should move into a shed."

I had to discuss defamation, so I actually went to a Google review of me. Google is so useless when it comes to this, no matter what evidence you provide them. Look at my response. He hired me at that location, yet I am/was living 400 miles away.

I'm always seeing headlines about someone quitting based on principles. Today, it was a WAPO editor due to "internal strife." I don't know anyone who can afford to quit regardless of the reason, principles or not.

Now that we are going back to the Great Depression era tariffs (Smoot-Hawley Act), it's a good time to remind you that because of the tariff refunds, tariff revenue is NEGATIVE. The U.S. also spends $1.30 + for every dollar that comes in. At this point, our economy is an underwater mortgage.
