Because the law attributed to god (which also just comes from men) is garbage that leads to a dysfunctional, oppressive society.

I don't have to answer a single question about anything in order to say "I don't believe in god."
If you need to believe in god watching you all the time to get you to be a good person...YOU ARE NOT A GOOD PERSON!
The Uno-reversal doesn't exactly land when you're sh!tting on yourself in the process.
Let's say it was all real, and somehow, despite my being an atheist, I made the cut into Heaven. As long as others are being sent to Hell, I'd tell St. Peter to go F* himself!
Or unruly children, or unfaithful spouses, or people who love differently than I do...fuk, the hypocrisy of the "thou shalt not cast the first stone" crowd!
"Thank you god, for this lifetime supply of cheap bronzer!"
Maybe dumb stories scare you into filling up that collection plate, but keep that sh!t to yourselves.
Those are your two options if you are a religious proselytizer. Deluded or a scammer. Take your pick.
That which can be destroyed by kindness deserves to be destroyed.
Well, given that zombies crave brains, the religious may actually be safe.
That kind of honesty would make christian's heads explode.
It's great when I can dunk on religion and conservatism in the same meme.
It's not just god I don't believe in. It's all supernatural nonsense.
It had a social utility once upon a time, but now it causes more problems than it solves. That and, you know, the fact that it's based on fantasies that aren't real.
The Egyptians and the Chinese were just two of the civilizations that existed straight through the time period when the global flood would have supposedly happened, and not only were neither of them wiped out, they didn't even seem to notice.
Your beliefs significantly impact the public sector, which effects us all, and we're not suppose to have any thoughts about that? Give me a frickin' break!
I've met plenty of kind and decent religious people. But the best people I've ever met are non-religious. I've met plenty of crappy non-religious people. But the worst, most evil people I've ever met are highly religious.
"Loving parents" saddling their children with psychological trauma that will either mentally cripple them for life (if they remain a believer) or just leave them emotionally scarred (if they don't).
I mean, I don't know why you would want to. Oh, I guess to release them into the wild so they won't bother the rest of us anymore?
And they're usually lying anyway. They never didn't believe in god. They just had a period of youthful rebellion against their religion and figured that meant they were an atheist.
You know what wasn't found on it? Any evidence for the existence of god.
It's worded a bit more antagonistically than I would have put it (this just gives apologists an excuse to claim that our atheism is just being angry at god, blah blah), but still...I agree with the basic sentiment.
Send this to your bigot family members and see if they are dumb enough to lose their minds over it. 🤣
