At a time when US violence and belligerence toward Iran keeps reaching terrifying new heights, this call to action from dockworkers is so concrete, so needed. These are the same unions that pulled off dockworker strikes in solidarity with Palestinians, so they mean it when they put out these calls.

This Roman ring, wishing good life to Senicianus, was found in Silchester. It’s now on display in The Vyne. Its fame derives from the archaeologist Mortimer Wheeler consulting Tolkien on it in the ‘20s. Tolkien was inspired by the idea of a lost cursed ring & the rest is literary history. 🕰️C4thAD

Earlier an Arab Man picked me up for Uber. I asked about his music & he reached to turn it down until he saw me enjoying it. It was Moroccan reggae and it was awesome. He was so pleasant and excited I was interested in the music. Rhythm I knew with language and melody I didn't. That's My America ❤️🖤💚

Sometimes you just have to hug a donkey. Seen here is staff member Spencer snuggling with Nicholas. Animal residents at Merrymac are always allowed to choose if and when they want affection/attention. Nicholas loves to snuggle and requests affection every chance he gets.
