I really love when Illinois basketball wins again to go to the Final Four.

I watched the second half of the Illinois basketball game in a bar in Chicago. I was sitting in a comfy chair, drinking a cider, with Illinois basketball on one TV and Bob Ross painting on the other TV. It was a damn good night.
It was an "observe whiskey Friday two days early" kind of Wednesday...
Had a lovely afternoon at the Morton Arboretum, had lunch and then walked around admiring the conifer collection.
The critics said Scott would NEVER make it to 30 likes and there were rumors he would just give up and answer the questions anyway. But he heroically persevered in an epic march to 30 and he stumbled across the finish line with basically zero friends left unbadgered. What an historic accomplishment.

So instead of going in order I will be rolling 3d10 for each like and answering the resulting numbered question. This way, question #30 has a chance to get answered.
We finally bought some amaro so we could make Black Manhattans at home. First result is very promising, I like it. Cheers to Whiskey Saturday.

Went to an Italian place for dinner tonight and I ordered the gnocchi alla vodka. It tasted excellent but the picture doesn't really capture the insane amount of gnocchi here. I was honestly intimidated by this pile of gnocchi and the to-go box I received contains 3 or 4 more servings. Yum!
Saw a coyote while I was shoveling snow yesterday. I offered hugs but it continued on its way.
