The BA degree show at City & Guilds London Art School is now open until 26th June, free. I’m biased as a trustee of the school, but I think it’s a great show and even bought three works from the show. I didn’t take anywhere enough photos, but here are some of my highlights... #GraduateShow

Our galleries are now closed while we install new exhibitions: Phantasmagoria: Folkloric Sculpture for the Digital Age in the Sculpture Galleries and Ebb & Flow: Bookworks by Yoko Terauchi from the Research in the Study Gallery. Both open 15 May – 30 August 2026, free entry

From 1875 a light vessel was established on the sandbank near Eastbourne. It was the first of its kind to display a flashing light. It was nearly a century later, and after a succession of ships, until the Royal Sovereign Lighthouse came into operation in September 1971. #Bexhill

The Grade 2* listed Paignton Picture House, Paignton, Devon which has been closed since 1999 & dates from 1914 secures £249k from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for restoration. Agatha Christie was a regular visitor to it. 👇 www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

It is hoped the Grade II* listed building will reopen later in 2026, having been closed since 1999.
