Although I do think the United States Of America LP is very, very Psychedelic and I used to listen to it after taking LSD. I loved it either way though. And, for the record, I would never take LSD again and haven't for 30 years.

I will admit to taking LSD quite a lot in my early 20s, probably by old school definition I'm insane now. Regarding psychedelic music, and I've heard a lot of it now, for me some Acid House records are the most truly psychedelic sounding things you will ever hear. And some Krautrock.
Multiple unplayed copies of The High " Box Set Go" in the charity shop today for 50p. I think London Records killed them from the beginning because it was virtually given away on all formats at the time. They must have pressed these in Stone Roses quantities. Shame, it's quite a good song really.
Charity shop today threw up loads of Indie 80s/90s & multiple Gary Human 7"s. I was tipped off by @noiseannoys78.bsky.social Surprised by this The Times 12" though Breaks into Sweetest Girl by Scritti Politti. Credited. Then Colour Of My Love was Love Is Blue, balaeric jazzy house version fem vocal
"On a night when flowers didn't suit my shoes." I've spent a bit of time over the years thinking about the lyrics to Geno. I won't bore you with sub 6 form level analysis though! Such a great song x PT
I went to B&Q at like 8am the other day, but couldn't go in as there was a fire drill. Upon entering said premises I heard the UB40 tune Rat In Mi Kitchen; I became entranced by it's massive Carly Simon/Why style skank groove. A right pop winner. I felt the need to share. PT x
#weekendsingles I reckon everyone that knows the words of this off by heart is in the same small age gap. Monkey Magic. "Born On An Egg On a Mountain Top!!'
Is this a promo sheet, any Lal & Norma Waterson/ Mike Waterson/ Topic/folk fans know? Found inside a copy of their '66 LP so this is a decade later. Not got either of the two LPs advertised but the '66 I do already have before finding another copy today.
The reason I still bother to sell records with little or no profit after overheads was re-iterated today when someoned face lit up in delight at finding a really nice condition copy of Pentangle "Light Flight" in my boxes. "Never seen it". A nice moment I'm rarely there to witness.
Another fucking thing I hate... fucking Dentists. Extortion merchants. Absolute scandalous the state of dentistry and charges in this country. There are no NHS dentists. I've been waiting 9 years. Obviously I've had to pay private. Myself, the wife and daughter it's over £3000 so far.
Still nobody wants to talk about religion. The divisions, the hatred, the blind faith. Still nobody will go there for fear of offending Nobody even prepared to come out with the undoubted positives in communities where genuinely decent people give their time to help others, under a religious banner?
What constitutes a blue tick account on bluesky? What is the purpose? Verified?
Burnham. Apt name. In this case. Put pressure on the FA and UEFA then. Remove UK teams from FIFA organized events. Speak to the German FA, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italians get a united front. Pull it. Fuck Infantino, filthy guy. Empowered by Trump. Filthy guy
This is my Religion. At least it's tangible. Maybe we can make up some kind of scriptures. You know. Lee Mavers walked to xyz and was blessed with the divine power of MELODY. Whatever. youtu.be/966GxzNRxaQ?...

Nobody wants to talk about religion. The futility of it. The divisions caused by it. The lack of science behind it. The lack of proof, the evil that it is. The religious wars, the embarrassment that is religion. Incredible that nobody wants to really discuss. Unfathomable.
All organised religion must be abolished. Evolution must select for individuals that reject all religion. Worship the planet that we live on, look after it as best we can. Look up to the sky to see how small we are. Nothing. The Sun, the Moon. Are crucial. Religion is nonsense. Killing people.
Most of the world looks backward. Hellbent on preserving the status quo where prehistoric religious baloney aka bullshit influences OUR lives. Then we have AI arriving at the singularity. Tell you what, i'd prefer machines to take over than any religious nonsense. There is no God. The Sun is God.
Government is stopping funding for research at Jodrell Bank. The amount of kids that have been inspired by this place. Short-sighted decision (half pun intended).
Found in the garage of doom. An unopened 2010 South Africa World Cup can of Coca Cola
Next garden listen £4.95 from Cobs Records although I did have it on release but ditched most of my indie about 1992...
Having a beer in the garden...just played Dr. John new purchase and now I'm listening to Bert Jansch 1st LP
I like beautiful music the most. I suppose any music can be beautiful. "Immune" by Low is exquisitely beautiful. In my opinion. #weekendsingles
I like 60's pop the best. But I love pop. And one of my favourite songs ever is this Kate Bush one. I'm one of those that would worship at her feet. I know others don't like her. For me she is a genius. But this tune is phenomenal. "Cloudbusting' , beat that. #weekendsingles
This is one I heard on Radio 1 on the school bus and I thought it would be Number One. What do I know, it didn't even chart Marc Almond "Ruby Red"
It's so good I've had to play it twice in a row. The La's flipside "Endless". A genuine 80's psychedelic pop classic. "Ever changing, always the same." That is me. I'm sure it's many of us .
