OK soooo downloading an Octatrack performance template by Ezbot changed everything. Everything fell into place. He put so much work into making the OT a magic and massive mixer machine. It's just so much fun. (still in the eternal jamming phase though)

Very interesting take on AI & artists: We’re also told, very politely, of course, that refusing to let our work be ingested by AI models is somehow anti-knowledge. As if a model trained on your voice, your chords, your lyrics is part of some grand intellectual commons. It’s not.
