Here's some good news you may missed recently.  Renewables and EV sales up. Emissions and power prices down.  A lot done, a lot more left to do. We're getting on with the job on the energy transition.

Today, we opened the new MCI carbon plant In Kooragang Island, Newcastle. Creating 50 jobs, and reducing carbon by 2500 tonnes a year, MCI carbon is an innovative Aussie technology which puts carbon to work in building products instead of wasted in emissions.

I don't know about you, but I don't want politicians deciding what my values should be. Whatever happened to just expecting people to follow laws? Something that politicians are failing to do themselves.

Did you know that nuclear power will switch off solar in 4 million Australian homes? Power bills for solar homes will go up more than $1,100, and an average of $665 a year for non-solar homes. Help me spread the word - Solar Saves, Nuclear Costs. www.doubleunderdutton.com.au

Your power bill will double under Dutton

Got Solar? your power bills will double under Dutton. Get the facts - solar saves, nuclear costs.

We will roll out our $2.3 billion Cheaper Home Batteries Program from 1 July 2025 reducing the cost of a typical installed battery by 30 per cent – with over one million new batteries expected by 2030.

So Duttons gas policy is just another sham. And will literally cause the unreliability they claim to be fixing. Its just more coal keeper. Or they will just have to admit one day that we need the renewables, but first they gotta wreck everything, just like the did to the NBN.

Peter Dutton’s entire extra supply from his National Gas Plan will disappear up a smokestack if wind and solar is prevented from replacing ageing coal power

This whole duopoly thing is such BS, we had the chance to vote not to destroy climate action, the NBN, school funding, to get rid of negative gearing, capital gains tax discounts in the past, all based on major party differences, but no the duopoly line is put out their to make sure we get nothing.

Dutton and Angus have been arguing arguing that we should be driven into a recession and to increase unemployment to deal with inflation. Truth is that the government spending is the only reason why we have had any positive growth at all. This despite them also producing a surplus.

Time to stop calling Dutton's energy policy a "nuclear policy" They have already admitted its all about extracting even more gas than what Labors proposing. Really it should be called a "super gas profits" policy or "delay renewables to make bigger gas profits" policy
