Went to a Lorcana prerelease last night with the nephew. Anyway, he pulled this. Currently on ebay with a bid, but gonna buy him more cards with the money it sells for.
Been dabbling in Lorcana with my nephew lately and gotta say I adore the friggin art. Gameplay isn't awful for a card game, and there's no way to turn 1 win (or really even 3 turn win) so been nice to pick up a hobby again that isn't creating.

Made a manager so mad today during a group listening session he made everyone else leave to try and intimidate me over embarrassing him. My response was simply "Don't bring me into a group listening session if you want me to bite my tongue." Then our HR lady got on his ass. Stand your ground.

Had a writer friend once point out how new authors learn to write by mimicking what they read, and how concerned she is about the kids learning to write when half of what they read is AI now. I think about this daily now.

Grew up where 12-Mile Bayou and the Red River crossed in Louisiana, so that was the original reason I chose Bayou. The other reason is I liked the pun. A writer read by you.
