I have this headcanon that the kagamine Appends have this hot and cold thing going on. Len cannot live in something too hot without melting away, while Rin cannot live in something too cold without turning nearly transparent.

But they do find comfort in each other, and managed to make their whole function work by moving to a small cabin that is in the middle of a cold forest. Is their relationship toxic? Nah not really. Are they even a couple? Somewhat

There is mini comic depicting these 3 characters (Midori aka Agent 4, Fillian, and Bao) in high school. Judging by the dialogue Bao had just transfered into the school Midori and Fillian attended, and Fillian seems to be attacked by her.

Note to add: Yoko and Enkai are twin siblings

This illustration is a lighthearted and comedic art featuring these characters. Yoko (left) is cheerfully waving to Mei. She's in a casual blue attire, though it's not shown in the actual art :(. She speaks octarian to Mei (middle). "Hey, Mei Mei" is the translation. Enkai (right) is silent in this one, but he also notices Mei. He wears red as opposed to his older twin, and has a pair of glasses (he just wanted to wear them).

Lore time!!

Yoko's ink colour is more orange because of how happy she gets. This is because she wants to talk to someone who also was from the octarian domes and bond with them. So, seeing Mei is a delight.

Enkai's ink colour is the same red that Yoko usually has, indicating he's feeling neutral about the situation at hand. This is because he had seen Mei multiple times (though Clove of course)

The three agents (excluding Neo Agent 3) as humans.

Captain 3/agent 3: Dakota is of Asian decent, but honestly if she was a human being she would be wasian. Her infamous (or famous) scar would be similar to a burn mark, but like second degree bordering on 3rd degree. Her hair is a lightened brown as she dyed it that way for the city (Nobara is that you??)

Agent 4: Fully Asian with monolids. Despite monolids not being ideal in eastern Asian beauty standards, he still got popular with the girls (and guys). I gave him a dark brown haircolour, as it makes more sense with him in general. He would occasionally dye his hair blond but only temporarily.

Agent 8: She's black. Like 100% of African decent. Her hair does look messy but that is because I was a bit lazy for a while (my bad brothers and sisters I am not woke enough), but she has a headband on the top of her hair. She definitely has 4c hair and she does take good care of it. Yes I kept her scar don't worry.

All the agents as little kids (all around 8-10 years of age) standing in a blue background. (Weezer reference)

Dakota (Captain 3): she was more happy back then as she lived in the countryside throughout her early to late childhood. She wears a simple sweater over her short sleeved shirt and a skirt.

Midori (Agent 4): Midori on the other hand, was born in the city and back then he was presenting as a girl (more specifically a tomboy). He's wearing overalls and a yellow shirt along with a headband. He looks more introverted and shy.

Yoko (Agent 8): Yoko lived in the octarian domes, so she never had the chance to wear much. When she was 8 years old she was already getting a growth spurt, and she looked awkward in her nearly oversized shirt and wearing the same skirt under.

Hunter (Neo Agent 3): Because they were abandoned during a big run, they look completely out of it. They eventually got a cloak given to them and they wear it around their dirty shirt. (They're wearing shorts as leggings don't worry)

This takes place after the events of Octo Expansion and the beginning of Midori (Agent 4 and Yoko(Agent 8) rooming together.

Before the whole comic strip happens Yoko was worried about the changing situation

In the first panel, Midori is seen wearing a sports bra, staring at Yoko confused. It does look like he was annoyed with her but no, he just looks like that 😭.

In the second panel, Yoko is processing what she's seeing, and in the third panel she looks relieved, almost misgendering Midori. This is due to her ignorance about intersex people

The final panel, Midori asserts that he's a boy, looking annoyed. Yoko response with an "...oh", mostly because she felt guilty for her ignorant stance

This takes place after the events of Octo Expansion and this is when the two start dating. Via blind date.

In the first panel, Midori is obviously flustered, glancing at the ground while holding Yoko's hand off screen. In the second panel he takes one glance at her to see what she's feeling. (Making sure she doesn't feel uncomfortable or awkward.)

Third panel is a more detailed (totally...Yeah...) doodle of Yoko smiling at Midori. She's obviously flustered as well, but she's more overjoyed that she went on a date, let alone having a boyfriend. This is Midori's point of view, and this is when he starts to have a crush on her.

The final panel shows Midori all flustered once more. Looking away while Yoko is still smiling at him.
